Even more ferrets

 

 

The three pictures below are of four year old Ross he was found walking the streets of Brentwood, and was very thin but gentle, now he is fat and gentle and if you were wondering about the tongue I had a bottle of ferretone in front of him then took it away for the picture its a good way of keeping them still. This is Button she picked Ross to be her friend which was amazing considering she was bullied by a ferret, nearly to death, I spent four day with her, forcing her to eat so she didn't die, after she stoped eating because of the bullying, she played with us but would play on her own dancing and jumping so I knew a friend would be good for her, I tried several ferrets Jills and Hobs but she just screamed at them, which made some ferrets act aggressively toward her, then along came Ross and she did scream at him but gentle as he is, he just wondered off, two screams then it was true love, I give up trying to work out why a ferret will become friends to one ferret and not another. This is five year old Big Ted trying to be cute, he is not as big as when he came in four years ago because of being neutered, but is still 4lb in weight (04/03/08)

 

This is Sasha a two year old silver Jill who drives me crazy, she seems to get up to places that other ferrets can not reach and the reason we only have 3 mugs and 4 plates left, because she likes pushing crockery onto the floor to see it smash. (28/03/08)

 

Neil and Sal came to help out at Blake hall with there three lovely ferrets, where I said it would be nice to get some pictures for the web site, so here we are, below is seven pictures, the Albino is Henry, the polecat is Dennis and the Sandy is George. 24/04/08

 

The picture below is Elvin, Ferret Friends sent him over to Monica in Norway, well the seven pictures below Elvin is his offspring three girls and three boys, they are four weeks old, thanks Monica for the pictures you must be over the moon with these baby's. 18/05/08

Emma sent this picture of her new ferret Hoggle a 13 week old Albino boy who was found abandoned with his 5 siblings in a cardboard box that came into Ferret Friends (01/09/08)

 

 

Below is five year old Evil enjoying a sleep sack given to the ferrets by my friend Jenny, he recently had an operation to remove his tail because he had two lumps growing towards the end, I had as much of the tail removed as possible just in case the problem had moved up the tail he must have had pain from the lumps because he is a much happier ferret now. This is Ashley he was given to Shirley by her friend Jeannine for her birthday later in the year he is a one half Angora hence the long coat, he has a wonderful temperament and will be neutered next week. (15/5/09)
