Bob Church's Chicken Gravy
I
Chose this recipe 6 year's
ago when our 2 year old polecat
hob got an
apses and lost a lot of weight,
even after the tooth was remove
he refused to eat, I found
this recipe, made it, saved
Fidget and have used it ever
since, it helped Fidget again
3 years ago when he got an
Adrenal tumour by keeping
his weight up before his operation,
he got his fur back and was
fine, as he got older I gave
him his chicken gravy every
day, we
lost him in 2006 with renal
failure when he was eight
years old.
We use chicken gravy at the
rescue for sick ferrets and
the older ferrets
get it every day, it has saved
lots of ferrets lives and
we have a supply in
the freezer always, some people
make it without the bones,
but I like to use
them, to date they haven't
destroyed my hand grinder,
its the same one I
bought 6 year's ago the only
thing I miss out is the fat
with the closure of
all our local butchers you
just can't get it
If you use the gravy, most
ferrets like it, but not all,
Fidget didn't, it took
me forcing him to eat 100
cubes before he would eat
it on his own, it was
chicken gravy or death I chose
the gravy, death was unacceptable.
